VAM Systems is currently looking for IT Engineer for our Bahrain operations with the following skill sets & terms and conditions:
Roles and Responsibilities:
?? Ensure the smooth operation of computer systems, servers, and networks by performing
maintenance, setup, and operation tasks.
?? Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
?? Diagnose hardware and software errors by performing diagnostics, documenting problems and solutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of problems.
?? Provide technical documents and specifications for planning, preparing, and upgrading the IT infrastructure.
?? Perform regular backups and implement appropriate data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
?? Provide technical support to ensure that all software, systems, desktop applications, workstation and related equipment problems are solved in a timely manner.
?? Determine capacity, storage planning, and database performance.
?? Monitor the performance of the centre?s internal network on a regular basis.
?? Monitor security systems including firewalls and anti-virus systems. Take care of any security incidents that arise.
?? Set up and maintain the centre?s internal network including hardware, system software, applications, network devices that connect to the Internet provider and firewalls.
?? Ensure that data is stored securely and regularly backed up.
?? Diagnose and solve hardware, software, network, and system problems as they arise. Replace or update damaged or old components when necessary.
?? Monitor the performance of servers, network, and operational systems to ensure efficient work and maintain information security.
?? Conduct research to develop and improve network performance and ICT infrastructure. Prepare recommendation reports based on research findings.
?? Supervise information and communication technology infrastructure projects. Supervise maintenance work of infrastructure provided by supplier companies.
?? Prepare and implement business continuity plans to ensure uninterrupted operations in case of disasters or other emergencies.
?? Develop and implement an incident handling plan related to IT operations and cyber security. Ensure that accidents are reported in a timely manner and corrective actions are taken.
Terms and conditions
Joining time frame: (15 - 30 days)
The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems - Bahrain and shall be deputed to one of the Organizations in Bahrain.
