VAM Systems is currently looking for System Administrator for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions:
Technical skills
?? Minimum 5 Years of experience.
?? Should have experience inAWS EC2, KMS, S3, AWS Backup, EFS, CloudWatch, IAM, EKS, ECR, EBS, AWS Auto scaling, Billing, Elastic Cache and Cloud Trial, AWS License Manager
Qualifications
?? B.Sc. Computer Engineering or Equivalent
?? AWS Certified Solution Architect ? Associate
?? Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
?? Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA)
Duties & Responsibilities
?? Monitoring the system and ensure the system available 24/7.
?? Manage the AWS account and admin user.
?? Deploy and manage the EC2 instances (Linux and Windows).
?? Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) to ensure the access to AWS Services and resources are authorized.
?? Review the IAM accounts and activities on regular basis.
?? Manage IAM roles, groups.
?? Manage systems accounts and system access rights.
?? Manage cryptographic-based controls implemented, certificates and encryption keys.
?? Upgrading and maintain the EKS Master and Worker nodes to latest version.
?? Configure the EKS worker nodes to auto scaling group to manage the workloads.
?? Monitoring the AWS resources usage, performances using CloudWatch dashboards.
?? Monitoring the AWS backup jobs and take corrective actions for failed jobs.
?? Manage snapshot and S3 and other disk storage equipment.
?? Manage storage thresholds and data archives.
?? Documentation of backup policies & configuration and maintenance of documentations.
?? Setup the auto scaling job for EC2 instances to stop and start during the non-working hours in lower environments.
?? Regularly monitor the AWS resource utilization and find the way to reduce the price.
?? Troubleshooting the performance issue and participating in providing the permanent solution.
?? Monitoring the AWS services outages (planned and unplanned) and take necessary action.
?? Monitor cloud component and alarms using tools and raise incidents for resolution accordingly.
?? Document and maintain server administration guides and SOPs.
?? Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly.
?? Monitor computing resources health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware/software issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers, computing resources, and storage as needed.
?? Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.
?? Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups.
