VAM Systems is currently looking for Developer - Database for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science
Professional Certifications
- Certifications related to Data & Analytics would be an added advantage
Experience
- 7 - 10 Years of Experience
- 5+ years experience in PL/SQL development,performance tuning and database design and SQL server DB architecture
- Very strong in writing advance SQL queries(5+) years
- Do they have 3+ years of scripting (Shell/Bash)
- Strong experience with SQL Server DDL, DML, Views, Stored Procedure, and Functions using T-SQL.(5+ yrs)
- Ability to detect and trouble shoot SQL related CPU,memory,I/O,disk space and other resource contention(5+ yrs)
- Experience in troubleshooting and data base integrity issues,performance issues,blocking & deadlocking.(5+ yrs)
- Exposure to other databases like sybase,MongoDB and cloud technology (Azure)
- Knowledge of SSIS/SSRS/ETL tools will be advantageous

Responsibilities
- Candidates will be involved in PL/SQL development for high demand data warehouses/OLAP/OLTP applications
- Performance tuning of queries, and production issue handling,data base design
- Develop SQL Server T-SQL procedures/functions for batch processing as well as reports, in line with user requirements
- Support major incident calls for critical production issues and provide resolutions.
- The candidate will work with DBA , IT infra on database migration, app teams on database migration, and upgrade tasks
Domain: Bank

- Joining time frame: (15 - 30 days)
- The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems - Bahrain and shall be deputed to one of the Banks in Bahrain.
