MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To operate waste water treatment plant based on operation procedure and instruction given by manager, engineer and supervisor and co-ordinate with the same person for any matter relevant to the process monitoring and improvement, trouble shooting, man power planning and plant safety.
JOB OBJECTIVES
1. To lead a team of plant operators to ensure that plant/systems are running smoothly.
2. To ensure that all log sheets / log books are properly filled with relevant information about equipments.
3. To report 15 minutes prior to duty timings and take proper relieving from the shift operator.
4. To report all minor / major breakdowns to the shift supervisor/concerned Engineer.
5. Work together with all colleagues and associates on site to maintain professional working relationships.
6. To follow instructions and related information into meaningful and accurate work directives to ensure all process units are running in accordance with instructions from Supervisor.
7. To ensure labour, material and equipment is provide for work to carry out any planned operation works.
8. To ensure cleaning of all equipment, work area and always maintain clean and hygienic environment.
9. To maintain effective lines of communication between the workforce and management.
10. To maintain and enforce a safe working environment by analysing job planning.
11. To maintain client satisfaction by controlling employees and control of work in the workplace.
12. Ensure quality control is enforced by inspection of all completed work.
13. Maintain constant reporting lines to management both verbal and written.
14. To monitor progress of work doing by other department is carried out within the work order set time frames.
15. To assist work colleagues in other departments to carry out works to fulfil the contract requirements.
16. Ensure subordinates and yourself attend Safety Meetings and Toolbox talks to increase safety awareness.
17. Mandatory to promptly report accidents, injuries and unsafe working conditions/practices immediately to the site management or to SHE.
18. To provide service to Kharafi National Facilities Management for whatever working hours are required for any site for any department work required to comply with the contract requirements.
19. Undertake all works required as directed by the Site Facilities Manager.
20. To provide onsite training followed by continuous support to the new staff in order to ensure their swift fulfilment to the job requirement but in a safe manner.
